We are excited to be part of making your practitioner dreams come true this year so please engage with us for advice, support and encouragement. The Advanced diploma is about developing yourself as a Practitioner. The most enlightening answers wont be in a book but will be found through honest and regular self-reflection and by digging deep into your resources to find the courage to truly challenge yourself. We are here and ready to hold you accountable and support you to become the practitioner you envision.
We are also here to make sure that every step of your journey is documented. This will serve as proof of the work you have put in and knowledge and skills you have gained. Attending the course and completing the reflective work will accrue up to a total of 215 clinical hours of which 145 are classed as supervised clinical hours.
To achieve the Certificate you are NOT obliged to complete the Advanced Portfolio but if you do then you can accrue up to 200 additional clinical hours of which 200 hours can be classified as supervised hours. Your certificate with be given ‘with honours’ to reflect this. As all options for your portfolio require contact with tutors and feedback to facilitate improvement then they can all be classed as guided learning.
Once the Portfolio is submitted in it’s entirety then you will receive a final assessment and your clinical hours will be confirmed.
