Healthy Hot Chocolate (Vegan & free from – dairy, gluten, refined sugar).

Nothing nicer than a warming hot chocolate on crisp, sunny Autumn days

Serves 1 Person

Ready in 5 minutes

Difficulty Super-Easy


  • As organic as possible
  • Quarter pint (250mls) of your fave plant mylk (I love a mixture of coconut & almond)
  • One heaped dessertspoon of raw cacao powder
  • 1-2 tablespoons (or equivalent) of your preferred sweetener eg. maple syrup, yacon or date syrup
  • 1 x Teaspoon almond butter
  • 5 drops Vanilla essence (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder (optional)


  1. Put everything into a pan and gently heat, stirring constantly until everything is smooth.
  2. Serve immediately with a dusting of cacao or cinnamon powder
