Excalibur dehydrators have the fan, heating element, and adjustable thermostat mounted in the rear for even drying. Cool air is drawn in the back, heated and distributed evenly across each tray. During the dehydration process, warm air removes moisture from foods and is pushed out of the front of the machine.

Horizontal airflow provides even drying, eliminating tray rotation. Drying is fast and heat is not lost as the dehydrator doesn’t need to be taken apart to change the tray sequence.

The adjustable thermostat controls temperatures from 29-63 degrees C (85-145 degrees F) and allows for perfect drying every time. The square tray design increases the drying area over standard round tray dehydrators.

The nine polycarbonate drying trays slide easily in and out of the dehydrator and are dishwasher safe. One or more trays can be removed to allow room for larger items like sprout breads or whole fruits. The Excalibur is easy to clean with spills falling on a seamless base.

With 15 square feet of drying area the 9-tray Excalibur is the biggest dehydrator available. It is an ideal size for large families.
